Spintop Machinery commenced production of the NC rotary table in the year 1996 in cooperation with Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) for related products and components; to begin with. With decades of experience behind us at the end of the NC rotary table, we have developed several models of the NC rotary table and the NC Indexing Table and we have received high appreciation from the industry and our valued customers. In the year 2005, we put our dual-axis NC rotary table (commonly known as 4-Axis, 5-Axis rotary table) in our production program and sold products around the world and gained a remarkably good response. Five-axis machining has almost become a trend by then. The advanced countries have adopted Five-axis machining to reduce machining time and higher process accuracy (Simultaneously multi-angle processing) thus improving overall efficiency by installing a Dual-axis NC Rotary Table in the existing three-axis CNC machine. Direct Drive (DD) motor or torque motor, will be the trend in mechanical transmission for the future. It has the advantage of high speed, high accuracy, no backlash, etc. For this reason, in 2008, we were actively involved in developing the rotary table with a direct drive motor for 4-axis or 5-axis CNC machines. This research and development with the cooperation and support from PMC was able to showcase the dual-axis NC rotary table at the Taipei International Machine Tool Show 2009 (TIMTOS 2009). This NC rotary table adopted a direct drive motor and encoder procured from Europe and integrated with the Heidenhain controller. By incorporating an appropriate cooling circuit it was possible to extract the max. Torque output from the DD motor torque characteristics. Recently in the market, NC rotary tables with DD motors are incorporated with existing controllers available for the 4th-axis or 5th-axis on the machine. However, DD servomotors require a high-precision control system, so it becomes essential to incorporate higher-level controllers such as HEIDENHAIN, Siemens, Fanuc 31iM, and Mitsubishi M70 for the machine which in turn will increase the overall costs. Due to this reason, SPINTOP developed a model of an external CNC controller that could be interfaced with the original controller or low-level CNC controller to meet the requirement of the DD motor as well as keep the cost reasonably low. This type of controller can control the DD motor to rotate at any angle with mi. increment of 0.001° with the help of a midrange encoder. According to the requirement of accuracy from a customer such as ±5 sec, ±15 sec, and ±30 sec, we choose to use multi-angle or multi-surface processing. Due to this, the DD motor has characteristics of high speed, zero backlash, and the ability to adapt to a normal encoder we can offer an NC Rotary Table of stable performance with reduced fault or error. It is easy to interface and integrate the DD motor NC Rotary table within the existing machine with the help of the spare Mcode available.

1993~1996 Milling Machine Department: Specially manufacture "SPINTOP" Vertical Milling Machine. Machining Department: Built high precision machinery parts in Milling Machine, C.N.C. Tooling MachineKetc., that only supply to domestic machinery manufacturers. 1996~1997 According on high precise work pieces marketing survey in September, pointed out the future machinery parts progression tended to C.N.C. Rotary Table. Hence, our company established a C.N.C. Rotary Table Research Department. Meanwhile, this department cooperated with Industrial Technology Research Institution of R.O.C. to develop relative products. Also, due to the quality of C.N.C. Index Table demand on accuracy and precision, therefore, a high precise 2D measuring system (TESA) had been purchased from Switzerland to solve this kind of problems. 1997 In January, completed research and started to produce products in Coupling Index Table Vertical type (CV3-320) and Horizontal type (CH-340). Also, developed the C.N.C. Rotary Table in diameter of 125mm (TD-125), 170mm (TD-170) and 320mm (TD-320) In March, presented products to TIMTOS 1997, Taipei International Machine Tool Show. In October, research department decided to use the European made PBC (Phosphor Bronze Alloy) Worm Set (Worm Wheel and Worm Shaft) instead of M.I.T. Worm Set is each model, this increased the hardness and tensile strength which overcame the teeth worn out, i.e. Lifetime extended and good quality in accuracy. In November, developed Coupling Index Table with in diameter 200mm(CH2-200), 300mm(CH2-300), 450mm(CH2-450), 600mm(CH2-600) & 470mm(CH3-470) 1999 In March, presented products to TIMTOS 1999, Taipei International Machine Tool Show. In May, use Double-Lead Worm Sets that made in England , and it is installed in TD series products. In August, start to produce TD-400, CH3-600. 2000 In March, completed research and started to produce in RAPC-1000 Rotary-Plate Changer, also sell to Japan . In June, started to sell CV3-255. 2001 In January, company research and started to produce in HIC-2000 Hydraulic Index Table. In March, presented products to TIMTOS 2005, Taipei International Machine Tool Show, also plan to take part in The 7th China Int., Machine Tool Show, and Thai Metalex 2001 Show, also devoted to export trade. In April, company research and started to produce in smaller Faceplate Tailstock: FT-135, FT-160A In May, company presented products in The 7th China Int., Machine Tool Show. In September, company presented products in EMO Show. In November, company presented products in Thai Metalex 2001 Show. 2002 In February, company research and started to produce in diameter of 500mm (TD-500). 2003 In January, company research & development of NC Index Table- Model NC-150. In February, company research & development of NC Index Table Controller- Model SIMPLE 2003. In March, presented products to TIMTOS 2003, Taipei International Machine Tool Show. 2004 In April, completed research & development of Hydraulic Index Table- Model CH3-800 In May, completed research & development of NC Rotary Table TR-125 for Laser Engraving machine. In October, completed research & development of new type Index Table- Model CH2-201 2005 In January, completed research & development of Hydraulic / Pneumatic Index Table Controller- ModelPIC-2005 In February, research & development of Digital Angle Displayer - Model TRO-2005 In March, completed research & development of NC Tilting Rotary Table- ModelTTD-125 & TTD-255H In March, presented products to TIMTOS 2005, Taipei International Machine Tool Show. 2006 In January, completed research & development of Multi-Spindle CNC Rotary Table (Right Side)- ModelTD-125-3R In May, completed research & development of new type Hydraulic Index Table Controller- ModelHIC-2006 In August, completed research & development of Multi-Spindle CNC Rotary Table (Left Side)- Model TD-125-3L In October, started research & development of NC Rotary Table (Left Side) - Model TD-170L.

Insisted of packing before shipment: Inspecting and testing machine again, according the functions and the demands of the components before packing. After the final inspection is complete, must fill in a full inspection machine record sheet for future queries.
